Creating Space
Creating space is a gift you give yourself to allow wisdom and understanding to flow. True feelings have a chance to breathe. With a clear mind decisions and choices will more easily be made.By allowing ourselves and others space, we create from a clean fresh slate.Today’s Affirmation:‘I allow myself time and space as I work out what’s right in front of me today. With ease and confidence that all is well. I allow others in my life the same gift.’-CoachpreneurJudyann | Brilliant Life by Divine Design – Transformational Coaching Beyond the Norm® -
Forevermore
The sands shift, the waters ebb and flow and the world spins and changes with every tick of the clock, down to the millisecond.
We get sure footing only to look down and see once again the sands have shifted. It’s unnerving, disconcerting and if allowed can keep us in a constant state of heightened anxiety, or at the very least subliminal distress.
We desperately seek a reprieve from the calamities that bombard our senses and our sensitivities. It’s hard to imagine becoming tough enough to take it all in and not let it unravel our peace, but maybe that’s the problem.
We are allowing our gateways (mind, will and emotions) to embrace the roughness of the world without.
We can choose to step away from the bombardment of thoughts and ensuing feelings by limiting our exposure to that which we have absolutely NO CONTROL over. We need to know what is going on in the world but we don’t need to inhale it non-stop.
We can lean into that which we DO have control over- our thoughts, our actions, our choices. We can easily go adrift onto the sea of turmoil when we DON’T take charge of our time and for that matter feelings.
How many books, teachings, articles have been published to help us redirect? Hundreds upon thousands.
I know I’m preaching to the choir today. I have an extensive library. I love books. I love the covers, the insights and promises boldly proclaimed on the cover, but ask me how many I have read cover to cover. Very few of them. And yet there may be a chapter, a visual a one-sentence reminder that will help me breathe deeply and step over the stumbling stone in front of me that day. It is reassuring to know that, like myself the many teachers, encouragers and life coaches are on the train of learning, growing and becoming with the heartfelt desire and intention of helping others. Life is tough, we need the helpers, encouragers, inspirationalists, artists, teachers and preachers who diligently help us travel on our path.
Today though, I knew the book that would touch my heart. Putting all other books aside a I went to my ‘Life Manual’ – the best book ever, God’s Living Word. The Good Book.
Insights that I knew would fill my heart, ease my mind and clear away the leftover tangled cobweb of yesterday and the potential forebodings of today are a paper-thin page flip away. It never disappoints. Never.
And the promise I gleaned for today? One simply powerful word ‘forevermore’.
It began as I sat with my pen and journal and that beautiful word ‘forevermore’ floated in. I chose to dig into the promise behind that Spirit-inspired insight. And here’s one of the beautiful, unending promises straight from the throne-room of heaven.
Psalms 16:11
You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. NKJV
When the unsettledness of the day rises upon you, find those moments that you can be still and embrace the beauty of God’s Presence. It’s there for you to access even amidst the knot in your stomach, the unending regurgitations of the daily news or everyday life circumstances that require your work-through. Let it be your rudder and rear guard. Even now as I write this I feel God’s grace-filled Presence embodying this moment of time. It is before I launch into the activities of the day, and for me it is comforting and steadying.
Listening and enjoying God’s Presence — the One Who holds all Power and Promise is joyful amidst the turmoil. Contentment comes.
Today’s Code Word? FOREVERMORE.
May this bless and encourage you today.

Little by Little
Little by little.
Oftentimes when your world flips upside down, it make take a while to steady your boat.
That’s okay. The dizzying effect of events can create a swirl that defies the calm waters of yesterday.
Staying ‘present’ in those moments isn’t easy, but it’s the antidote to resistance. Deal with one thing at a time, one day at a time and one decision at a time.
When faced with new life realities, prioritize the decisions, the moments and the day.
Your footing will come. The sands WILL stop shifting, and you’ll gain the sure-footedness you once new.
Little by little.
Take the care you need to regain your composure and stride. Those relentless crashing waves of emotions will calm, as you purpose to take the best possible care of yourself during the upheaval. They will calm as well.
Little by little.
Ask for, expect and be willing to receive ALL of the help you need. However little or much help comes — be willing to receive it.
And if you find you are simply worn thin, overshadowed by hurt, disappointment, sadness or fear, give Grace a chance to quiet the heart.
Grace is a powerful antidote on every level, helping you make decisions, do the seemingly impossible and get back on track.
And then, little by little, you can see yourself expecting the best for yourself, your loved ones and your life.
You’ll find yourself raising the bar of expectation to be in line with your best possible life for the season you are in.
You’re worth it.

Trusting God
I posted this on Facebook in March of 2013 — I love the ‘memories’ that are shared on our timelines. Why are they always so appropriate again on a brand new day, and a brand new life point. At the end of this post, spend a moment with the affirmation — let it sink in and apply it to whatever is on your plate today.
When we need a reminder that we might be holding on a tad too tight to the reins in one or more life areas, that awareness can lead to an encouragement to loosen our grip — just a bit.
As you enjoy this
visual see what comes to mind when you take that moment to ponder what you see. What pops into your mind? You may not realize you are holding too tightly. It may even have surprised you.God is willing and well able to lead you in fresh new ways, head you in a better direction and layout a plan for an easier, smoother transition to a change in your life.
Today’s Affirmation:
I let go and trust God to showcase all right action on my part. There will be a knowing and confirmation within me.
With childlike trust, I move forward. I let go, and I trust God.
